Prepare Your Equipment

You only need a supported browser. You don’t need to install any applications or browser plug-ins. The Codility interface contains a coding environment that provides everything you need to solve the tasks (you can edit, compile and run your solutions many times before you submit your code).

Event Mechanics

Open Category

1. Must be a resident of the Philippines

2. Must be a working programmer/developer or have an educational background in coding (graduated; completed college degree)

3. Must submit an ID to confirm identity. Scanned or photo of ID is accepted.

4. Can code using PHP, Ruby, or JavaScript. You can specify only 1 when you register to join.

Student Category

1. Must be a resident in the Philippines

2. Must have been enrolled in a college/university program with coding courses within the last 1 8 months.

3. Must not be working full-time.

4. Must submit a study load (within the last 1 8 months) or student ID. Scanned or photo of ID is accepted.

5. Can code using PHP, Ruby, or JavaScript. You can specify only 1 when you register to join.

Rules and Guidelines

1. Pre-registration is required to participate. Submit a form with your active contact details to receive further information.

2. Event registration is open until Tuesday, August 16, 2022.

3. Challenge Start Date: Friday, August 19. 2022 at 09:00 AM PHT

4. Challenge Closing Date: Sunday, August 28, 2022 at 1 1:59 PM PHT

5. All solutions must be submitted before the challenge closes on August 28. 2022 (Sunday).

6. The test environment will be provided by Codility. A link will be sent to participants before the challenge begins.

7. Available coding languages are: JavaScript, PHP, Ruby

8. The final result will be based on the score of the submitted code. The time of completing the challenge and order of submissions will also be taken into consideration.

9. Special Student Category requires proof that the person is enrolled at college or has been enrolled at college in the last 1 8 months. Students must not currently be working full time.

10. All tasks have to be solved on your own. Any case of plagiarism will result in disqualification.

1 1. When selecting prize winners we will consider all of your challenge submissions. Winners need to be in attendance at the prize ceremony on Sunday, September 4, 2022 (TBA). Raffle Prizes also require attendance on the prize ceremony day.
